钟章奇，湖南岳阳人，博士，教授/博士生导师，湖南科技大学地理学学士（2005-2009）、华东师范大学地理学硕士（2009-2012）、地理学博士（2012-2016），University of North Carolina at Charlotte联合培养博士（2014-2015），浙江财经大学经济学博士后（2019-2021），主要研究领域集中于区域经济学（经济地理学）和产业经济学等，具体研究方向是区域科学与经济政策模拟、技术创新与区域产业发展。目前已主持国家级课题2项，省部级课题4项，副省级城市重点课题1项，省供销社横向委托课题1项。近年来围绕“技术创新-区域产业发展-温室气体减排（尤其是关注因区域间贸易而产生的温室气体排放）”这一主线开展了大量的学术探索研究，目前已在《Technovation》、《Technological Forecasting and Social Change》、《Journal of Environmental Management》、《Structural Change and Economic Dynamics》、《Computational Economics》、《Emerging Markets Finance and Trade》、《国际贸易问题》、《科学学研究》、《地理学报》、《地理研究》和《科研管理》等SCI\SSCI\CSSCI检索的国内外高质量学术期刊上发表论文80余篇，其中以第一作者或通讯作者发表论文40余篇，并且是《Computational Economics》、《Ecological Economics》、《Tourism Management》、《Emerging Markets Finance and Trade》、《Journal of Travel Research》、《Applied Energy》、《Energy Journal》、《Energy Policy》、《Structural Change and Economic Dynamics》、《Environmental and Resource Economics》、《国际贸易问题》、《地理研究》、《资源科学》和《自然资源学报》等近60本国内外SCI\SSCI\CSSCI等检索期刊的论文评审专家，并兼任国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家、教育部学位中心学位论文评审专家、《Frontiers in Environmental Science》期刊客座编辑等。
